George, a native Caymanian, is a fluent business man and a former Politician, who graduated from, the Maritime College at Fort Schuyler, New York, USA in 1970. George completed his education at Fort Schuyler and returned to Grand Cayman with bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering. He started his own elevator business in Grand Cayman in 1973. George was elected to the Legislature in 1976 and served in that capacity until 1980. He then went on to represent the Caymanian people at the United Nations – to reinforce to the delegates that the Caymanian people did not desire independence from England. United Nations Article Link
